Dr. Brown was the featured speaker on Saturday, June 19th, at "The Body" (A Church for Anybody).  The non-profit event was the third in a series of "Your Famly Health Forum" events, which are being co-sponsored in the public interest by nine Rock Hill groups.  

9 co-sponsoring health oriented organizations planned and presented the free event for families wishing to "Step Out of the Health Care Crisis."  June 19th was the 3rd time the group worke together to bring important information about healthier living directly to the people.  It was also the theme of Dr. Brown's talk that morning. 

Those arriving early participated in, "Meet the doctors" (9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.).  They had an informal opportunity to sip coffee and visit with the professionals: Dr. Rhonda Werner (Werner Family Chiropractic), Dr. Felicia Stewart (Stewart Family Chiropractic), Dr. Mark Klopenstine (Shiland Dentistry), and Dr. Myron Brown.  All of our other co-sponsors were also on hand to help welcome everyone. 

"Stepping Out of the Health Care Crisis" was more than just an educational session, there were prizes, fun and refreshments, too.  Following the presentation door prizes were awarded and everyone went home with someting.  Also health screenings were provided by the doctors and their health oriented Rock Hill co-sponsors.  Co-sponsors include Health Choices Herb Shop; Shiland Dentistry; Anytime Fitness; Carolina Community Maternity Center; The Body Church ; Diane Liechti (massage therapy); and Drs. "Competent Communicator" Recognition Received at Toastmasters

Members of Toastmasters improve their confidence, leadership and communication abilities, all while having fun doing it. 

On March 16th Linda Robinson and Myron Brown received their “Competent Communicator” Recognition. Also in Cordoba, the Asociación Quiropráctica Argentina, the national chiropractic association held a 3 day seminar featuring four speakers:  Yvonne Villanueva-Russell, PhD from Texas A & M University presented an analysis of the chiropractic profession and its environment through the eyes of a professional sociologist; Dr. Thom Gelardi, founder of Sherman College discussed the principles involved in a successful practice experience; Licencia Maria Ramonda and staff of her practice presented original research based on demographic data from a large practice in Rosario, Argentina;  and Dr. Myron Brown spoke on the philosophy of technique and also presented original research, which has recently been accepted for publication in a peer reviewed journal.

On Saturday, March 6th, "The Body" (A Church for Anybody) hosted an informative non-profit event featuring Dr. Brown as the keynote speaker.
